Thomas Sullivan Magnum IV is a private investigator. He lives in the guesthouse of a 200-acre (81 ha) beachfront estate called Robin's Nest, in Hawaii, at the invitation of its owner, Robin Masters. Ostensibly this is quid pro quo for Magnum's services based upon his expertise

  • Valve is the company, it let's out steam

  • Denim and beans

  • YunoHost runs on Debian and basically just automates installs via scripts. Its easy to handle and still leaves open to ssh into the machine and learn/understand everything if you want to. Having to real knowledge about tech, networks, Linux etc will lead to nothing when sitting in front of an empty Debian box

  • You can still tinker with YunoHost

  • Why should I know this? Who are you that I should know when you learned something in school?

  • Similar expierience, got an Inspiron x360 for $150 - works great and its capable of doing so much more than a usual tablet since I have the same Debian Stable install as on my Desktop and work Laptop.

And everything worked out of the box, which kinda baffled me to be honest.

  • I also don't get it, as far as I understood you only used the LLM to have a spell checker on crack basically and not generate the idea or straight up technical solution so whats all the fuzz about?

  • Wow that was an amusing read, but not really comparable. Those are automated AI security findings, hallucinated partially. But this is an idea that was phrased out by using AI. He already showed the passion to submit and discuss his idea, what you are doing is valuing the devs passion more than someone that's clearly not a dev submitting his idea ... It sounds a little elitist to me.

  • I'd rather run a rusty nail through my sack than booting Windows

  • I don't like LLMs either, but I think its harsh to just close the discussion because someone used an LLM to rephrase someone's initial idea....

  • Like ... real life social connections? I'm on your Matrix channel, you can't fool anyone

  • This is a joke right?

  • Proton actually is free, I use it without a Steam Deck. I mean yeah they build a handheld console and they are allowed to sell it I guess? They don't sell SteamOS and they don't sell Proton, I could use both without paying them a dime right now. Legally. They also upstream to Wine ... Actually for free?

  • I don't get it. I really don't. Why should I brand myself with a Microsoft mascot? This is the most stupid idea they ever had.

  • How do they make money with proton and foss?

  • It's a meme
