  • Responded to the wrong person. Sorry about that

  • There are no small wins anymore. Harm reduction is important, but it's also important to understand what is happening right now. That's all I'm saying. The Democrats will not be your salvation, they will be your slow demise. The Republicans will be your quick demise. People need to take to the streets, not the ballots. If you can't see that, then you're still living in the past. Listen to yourself: "compete dissolution of checks and balances" but you still think we can reform it all better?

C'mon, you don't seem to be that out of the loop. Surely you get it by now? I don't think you deserve to have a master

  • There is no difference. One side is just more honest

  • Sure, but Gavin Newsom might very well also be a Nazi. If you're from California, then you're probably aware that he's not exactly defending the the sanctuary state that he's been charged to lead. He's also kind of giving mayors carte blanche (and State-level support) to "clean up" homeless encampments, and he's publicly stated that he doesn't believe that "trans athletes should be allowed to compete against girls" in and interview with Charlie Kirk, and then recently doubled down on that.

So what do you do when both Candidates want to fuck the world?

Obviously the fascist party is accelerating things quickly, but the Democrats aren't doing anything to slow it down. Just as in every single case of a fascist takeover ever, the liberals enable the fascists. They keep trying to shift to the right to "capture voters" which literally has never worked, but they keep trying. Why?

  • I really wish more people saw it with this kind of clarity.

  • If it's free, you're the product.

  • I don't know what to say. This is the system functioning as intended. Capitalism should be abolished.

  • You have accurately described the way the stock market works. 🏆🏅

  • No, don't tip toe. Actually do something. Go agitate. Get fucking angry. Throw a brick through a window. Start a community garden and call it the "Fuck Trump Garden", but calling him taco on the internet is probably the least helpful thing you can be doing. Do it, chicken. Fucking do it. Bawk bawk bawk bawk. Chicken.

  • I don't see the benefit, no. What exactly is the end goal? Best case scenario he chickens out and gets all flustered on Truth social and everybody has a good laugh, worst case scenario he doesn't chicken out because people keeping calling him chicken, and his petty little ass does something even more fucked up.

Like, isn't that the whole point of bullying someone and calling them a chicken to specifically get them to do the thing?

"Jump, chicken, you won't do it!". "Boooock bock bock bock!"

Does that sound like someone that doesn't want the person they're talking to to jump?

Which is why, from this point forward, I will assume anybody saying this TACO shit is actually trying to goad Trump into an even more extreme response.

  • From now on, whenever I see somebody doing the TACO thing, I'm going to assume they are accelerationists trying to get Trump to do something horrific. I don't know why else you would do it. Surely nobody has deluded themselves into thinking they can just bully the guy out of office and then everything goes back to normal, right? Right?

  • Anarchist checking in: I vote. I don't live in a communist utopia without money or borders or hierarchy, I live in THIS fucked up world, so yeah, voting is necessary.

  • Best I can guess? Jeffrey Epstein was once a young, under-qualified, math teacher in New York?

  • A LOT of important lessons, orgs, new theory, and new praxis grew out of both Occupy and the uprisings of 2020. I promise you, people are ready to use a diverse array of tactics to win this fight, but there's one crucial thing still missing: critical mass. If you don't have a large enough group of people, you get bowled over.

Things like No Kings (a reformist effort from well meaning, but status quo-protecting liberals), are largely toothless, but they DO have the positive side effect of radicalizing liberals. It's like revolutionary Kindergarten.

So stuff like No Kings, while kind of annoying and not really anything, feed into that pool of people necessary to achieve that critical mass.

We're getting there, but moving too fast can ensure a bloody and ultimately defeated revolution and help to cement authoritarian rule, if you're not careful.

Start building networks with the people around you. Get to know your neighbors. Lend out your tools. Feed hungry people in your neighborhood. That's how you build a revolution. The fighting can't start without people taking care of people.

  • The creepy new drama teacher was an evil demon the whole time?!?

  • I literally did as you asked. There's no gotcha here. I'm just trying to ascertain whether or not you value democracy or not. That's a crucial first step to understand why you have such a fundamental misunderstanding of communism. That's all.

  • Should people, in your opinion, be ruled by kings?

  • If you want to REALLY reduce the definition of communism down to its most concentrated form, "From each according to their ability, to each according to their need", then not only is communism a successful system, it is the only reason our species exists today.

  • Simple question here. No gotcha: Do you believe that people deserve to be ruled by kings?
