That and they just stay there active, decades after the conflict. There are still minefields from decades old conflicts that kill/injure people today.

It’s honestly no worse than dropping bombs on them. They don’t have to deal with the explosive shock blowing out their ear drums either. It’s way more escapable than sudden explosions happening all around you.
Besides… if you invade a country you’re down with death. A bunch of the soldiers use rape and attack civilians as well, so my concern for their well being dried up a long time ago.
That’s actually not the problem with chemical weapons. Chemical weapons are banned due to their indiscriminate nature (being blown by the wind) and really the fact that it causes slow deaths over years. It’s that it’s tantamount to torture (which is also banned).
Blowing people’s limbs off is considered A-OK as long as it’s not done with land mines.
Eh, that’s pretty metal. What I like about it is that it’s not some chemical weapon that floats on the air to hiteveryone in the vicinity. You will see where you are hitting clearly because it’s like a bright tracer round. And it’ll cause more injuries than deaths.
You almost have a sporting chance to get away once it’s started compared to the relatively sudden chaos of explosions.
I can understand it but that’s not the real question is it? The question posed was why one person was treated differently by the courts than the other.
The answer was because one person attacked their active abuser in self defense while the other escaped, then months later, in an act of revenge, planned and executed their murder and arson.
Of course, another key difference is that she took a plea deal. Which means she never actually went to trial. Her legal team knew self defense was never gonna fly either.
Read your damn source. You posted it. It’s obvious they are completely different.
I forsee some being wasted at the beginning and then them eventually becoming the backup supply when the girls restroom runs out.
That is provided you don’t have some loser administrator just never refilling the boys room because of the waste.
Free tampons usually suck, so most people prefer to buy their own but are glad they are there in an emergency.
Boys may play with them. Which is probably for the best actually. Removing stigma from basic hygiene products can only be a positive thing.
It’s not the point of them being there but a nice side effect.
There are many military members and their families in the US voting. Their career is as relevant as anyone else’s. People on a position of power within the government though means you may make very direct life and death decisions for military members though. So its a comfort to many of them if they see you served time yourself and aren’t a tragic hypocrite.
Tldr: It’s relevant to the people it’s relevant to, which is many.
Yeah, the way they’ve described it on podcasts is that the comedian can pay to make the whole thing themselves and then just sell it like a finished product to a streaming service. For an established comedian like this, that’s almost certainly what happened.
He owns his own comedy club, so I’m sure it’s very inexpensive for him to film a special. I didn’t watch it though so I don’t know if it’s at his own club though.
Inflation just hit the poor CEOs extra hard. 20% feels bad for us, imagine how much it impacts your bottom line when you have to give your private chef and your driver 3% raises every 5 years. Where will they find the money? /s
If Isreal gets it’s way, it’ll be 1 state, but we won’t like how that sausage gets made.
They don’t kiss and tell! /wink
Sure, if that’s how a really popular subreddit pays it’s moderators, it’s not unreasonable. We just know that isn’t what’s going on here.
In addition, it would be unreasonable to expect users of a free service to suddenly start paying for it without an extremely huge value boost which there’s been no mention of. If anything engagement will certainly go down, further reducing the value.
That’s due to corrupt cops manipulating evidence. The judicial system acted accordingly when presented with the proof that the evidence could no longer be trusted.
I’ve learned to hate companies that replaced their support staff with AI. I don’t mind if it supplements easy stuff, that should take like 15 seconds, but when I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get to the one lone bastard stuck running the support desk on their own, I start to wonder why I give them any money at all.
Doesn’t look like a similar firing experience to me.
Olympic shooting has nothing to do with shooting of any other kind. The guns are custom made. Unless you are speficially training for the Olympics you’ll likely never handle such a “weapon”. I think using these guns is the equivalent to a running being able to use spring blades. I am not a gun owner but it feels like a pointless sport as done.
Age discrimination is codified. Minimum president age is 35, senator is 30, and congressperson is 25. No reason for it but age discrimination. If we can’t put a ceiling they need to remove the floor.
Sounds like the users are just hella trashy, which sucks because it also means there is enough demand for the service if they are getting used enough to leave a mess.
