    That's the drumette. The flat, the one with two bones, are for controlling the very tip of the wing, for maneuvering. Notably these muscles are kinda big compared to the body size of the bird. About 6 inches around. If a human were the size of a chicken our biceps would be something like an inch around in comparison.

    For liftoff, and staying aloft, birds have slightly different muscle groups. This is the breast meat. Bird chest muscles are ridiculously huge compared to their bodies. They don't really have abs, the have chest muscles down their entire torso. Chickens are kind of mutants and aren't really good examples anymore but birds universally have absolutely BADONKERS chests.

    Basically what I'm saying is: If Pit were drawn by Rob Liefeld, he'd be closer to obtaining flight.

    A friend of mine had to eventually have a port put in, because there wasn't anywhere left she could get an IV she'd had so many.

    Trump could be anywhere on that list really. But if he's getting one every 6 weeks, they may be running out of suitable locations. They won't give him a port, that's just as likely to kill him.

  • I'm gonna be honest, I don't remember the last time I had a problem with windows. I had some issues getting a media server set up that ended up being the router my ISP gave me, I had an issue with the 11 "upgrade" that ended up being a BIOS setting. But the last time I had an issue that was actually Windows related was on a previous computer, and my desktop is damn near geriatric.

  • A frightening number of sex offenders get work release. About half the work release guys I work with are sex offenders. The other half are drug convictions.

    The drug conviction guys are generally happy to tell you what they got sent to prison for, sometimes with some mild embarrassment or remorse. A worrying number of the sex offenders will tell you inadvertantly when they're bitching about the people they victimized making obtaining parole difficult. No remorse at all.
