When installing gnome using apt it should prompt you at some point which display manager (aka login screen) you want to use. Just choose the one that’s not gdm and your login screen wont change. Generally its easy to install a new desktop. Just do “sudo apt install the_desktop_environment” and change the chosen desktop environment on your login screen when logging in (there should be some slider or button for that).
Yeah it was better when most games were p2p instead of all the shitty models we have today
And f2p players still cant use any form of chat or play ranked…
I feel like 6.0 was released yesterday, am i getting old?
Im working on a multiplatform gtk graphing calculator app that’s pleasant to use and powerful at the same time. Mainly oriented towards mathematics and chemistry because thats what i do but more stuff may be added eventually.
Must be those damn windows, they should really hire someone to fix them
“Don’t worry, i’ll make sure they don’t spy on you… Because only I can”
Waiting for the european flags 🥺
Brave is based on chromium which probably wont have too much dystopian tracking stuff unlike proprietary chrome (and they remove it anyways). People should still switch to firefox though
You can add the normal vscode extension repos https://github.com/OliverKeefe/vscode-extensions-in-vscodium
That’s exactly the problem with blink (chromiums rendering engine) based browsers. They help google build a monopoly and slowly take over the whole browser market which allows them to do stunts such as their recent web integrity API. We are at a point where a crushing majority of browsers (even libre/privacy ones) and users use it and websites only care about blink/chromium compatibility and there is little room for engines like gecko or even webkit.
