These summary bots are pretty shit. I find they leave out heaps of context and just make me click on the article.

You didn’t think Racoonatouille was funny as shit? I lost it at that part.
Otherwise it was an alright movie, pretty solid, obvious heart string pulling story line. I liked the no matter what universe they are in they end up together schtick, but again I watched it before I knew it was a big hit so had no expectations either way.

Really? Anything in particular about ColorOS you disliked? I’m on my 3rd Oppo and don’t mind it but also not very picky.
Microsoft upped the Gamepass price on the basis that it would allow for bigger titles. Honestly I think they are delivering on that with Starfield and Forza Motorsport amongst others. EA Play inclusion also adds value as does having the 2 out of the 3 most recent AC chapters. Ubisoft + can go suck a dick though, I want Valhalla and eventually Mirage on Gamepass.
Any reason for playdate vs a Miyoo or Anbernic system?
On an android device you can use Google Home app to run casting.
I use Google to turn on my TV by saying ‘turn on TV’, easily done. But then when I ask it to adjust volume it asks me which TV… I only have one TV online and it had just turned it on.
When people at uni used Matlab, I learned R (before R-studio even existed) and python.
Good move. MATLAB is trash.
I never wanted to learn anything MS… …or proprietary technologies such as… …excel
Eh, depending on your career Excel is worth a tiny bit of time given its pervasiveness and how powerful it is. But like you say, learning open source will make Excel a piece of cake.
Metro.
All 3 games require you do/don’t kill certain people at different levels in order to get the ‘true ending’. When I first played I just killed anything that moved, but then found out the consequences of doing so. Honestly it improved my game experience so much more when I had to carefully consider each action.
In academic publishing you look at the order of authors and the author contribution statement to determine the hierarchy of the research group. In this case the Chinese author is the most senior, and was the member who approved the submission. In such niche areas as this most senior academics will know most of the relevant authors and literature. Thus carelessness is too kind a word where negligence and lack of integrity would be more fitting.
Further, with regards to the primary author my assertion still stands, it was not carelessness but rather brazen academic misconduct, as demonstrated by the resubmission (not republication as you suggest).
Your assumption is wrong. This was not carelessness. Academic dishonesty and lack of integrity is an ongoing issue in research. China is one of the biggest culprits for blatant plagiarism and IP theft, although recently even academics from Ivy league universities have been implicated in fraudulent publications. The simple fact is that number of publications is the main metric used in academia for hiring and promotion. This leads to a perverse incentive model where academics prioritise publishing over conducting good science, thus all we get is a shit load of noise (poor articles) that obscure the signal (good articles).
You can get a whole bunch of Japan only or JDM items on Yahoo Japan via intermediaries (Buyer, ZenMarket, etc). But the purchasing process can be confusing at times and you are relying on Google translate as Yahoo.jp isn’t designed as an international facing marketplace.
Miyoo is $80-90 AUD ($50ish USD) on Choice deal at the moment and is the best quality one (can play up to PS1 games). Is pretty much a portable RetroPi that can be loaded with ROMs easily. There are numerous models less than that though with a fair few at the $15 AUD mark, but with lower grade hardware and thus only emulate early Nintendo/SEGA and can only play the preloaded games.
Haha, and you know that Amazon seller is either the same AliX seller or some idiot who bought a book on how drop shipping can make them millions.
AliX can be amazing quality sometimes but like Yahoo Japan you need your hand held at bit. I use AliX for watches and watch parts, but use reputable Youtubers to crossref the stores and parts. I also don’t buy from stores that have no photos in reviews etc. It can take me an hour or two to find the right store for a $2 part, but I know that in 2 weeks I’ll have the correct part etc rather than junk. I haven’t tried them for electronics, but those retro Gameboy emulators are tempting.
I’ve seen the same item (same pictures etc) on Alibaba, AliExpress and Amazon, each time with a 100-200% markup. It’s insane how the exact same item is $10 shipped from AliX but $30 on Amazon. Obviously the greater trust in Amazon vs AliX allows for greater markup when selling on that platform.
That game hits hard.
Enjoy. Two of the most beautiful games to exist, although weird Owl obsession from creator.
I loved SD when it came out, think I have played it through 3 times now. I have all of Yakuza but just can’t get into it to the same extent, only managed to finish Zero so far.
What? Right wing conservative facist in fact has a very non-traditional open relationship with a sexual predator…well if I had a nickel…etc etc.
