I'm still figuring it out. But at the very least, my SO and I both have phones with the Immich app, and auto sync our photos folders to it, and we can both see all of the photos that have been synced.
In my mobile app, I can select a photo > edit > crop, and get rotate options there. Does that do what you're looking for? I can't confirm right now since I'm not home and haven't exposed it beyond my home network yet, and haven't tried it from the web interface. I agree though, as I continue to use it, rotating will be a common use case and I'd hope it handles it gracefully.
Department of "Defense" is just a whitewashing cover for the fact that its a war department, to help convince Americans we need to spend all of our tax money on it... So sure go ahead and rename it, genius
Brand new Immich user here. Love the project and I hope it goes far!
Also maybe I'm not understanding, but the two complaints about it so far in this thread are not being able to sync photos to a phone and not being able to rotate photos and, I'm pretty sure I can do both?
They exist. In some communities they may work but IMO a lot of times they hurt community engagement, since no one really wants to reply to an autogenerated OP or join a community that's a wall of empty bot posts.
All fair. But the LOST ending didn't ruin the entire series, like GoT's did. Like, the ending of GoT retroactively made the rest of the show unwatchable, whereas ive watched all of LOST a couple times, and it's still great.
I was satisfied with the LOST ending. At least enough for it not to be #2 behind GoT. I know it was polarizing but its not even in the same league as the mess of GoT.
Yeah that's the big problem with binge style watching with full season releases. It really kills the community and discussion aspect of TV. Otherwise having control of how much to watch & when is great.
Surely this is a boon for the manufacturing industry /s
