  • I have been wanting a Linux phone for ages but I can't afford a librem and pine seems to have stalled out. Just found out about Furi and now I'm wondering if it really is that good. It's still expensive but it at least doesn't look like it'd choke on running a calculator app.

  • Great, and now there are adventurers on the lawn.

  • Now you're thinking like a dragon.

  • Gee, it's almost like dragons are powerful, intelligent beings who are not to be trifled with and not just something to throw in front of a party because it's in the name.

  • I was thinking about these literally just yesterday. I'm wondering if they could be essentially replaced with something like those wax bottle candies. Maybe not the best for places that reach extreme temperatures but some places could do it without issue.

  • Even if true, how is that relevant to the case?

  • I'll jump in to plug Red Moon. It applies an overlay of a color of your choice and enables you to dim your backlight beyond what is normally possible. If you are in a fully darkened room, overlaying an orange/red color and dimming your screen to barely readable levels to read something can trick you into becoming sleepy by tiring your eyes.

  • Space Engineers

Ares at War scenario with Industrial Overhaul and Weapon Core to make everything as complicated as possible

  • Modded MC, specifically TFC packs

It hits almost all the right points to lock me in.

  • "I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn't lose voters."

  • They shoot you with their bow.

  • What? You don't just have them all left open as tabs?

  • Worried Blackbird was a publisher for a moment. Shipbreaker is great. I beat it twice (normally and no clones) and still play for relaxation. Captain Shack mentioned it during a stream a few days back and I was just thinking how it's probably the only game where i'd actually willingly buy a DLC for a new set of ships or a sequel with the ability to add ships as workshop mods.

  • Instead, investors did the fucking, and now here we are.

  • DnD Barbarian: "B...A...T... Oh no, it's bait for a trap!" WoD player: "No, you dolt. It's clearly meant to be a more complex anagram indicating the identity of the coconspirator. Cunning... peasant..." Call of Cthulhu player: insensate screaming "It is the name of the unspeakable! Burn them! Destroy the tablets! Bury the entrance so that none find this place again in our lifetimes!" DnD Wizard: "Fireball. Final answer." rolls

  • You could also just not play games that think they are allowed to access the kernel at all. Seems safer, more affordable, and basically without downside. They aren't even that good of games.

  • Learning a bit about the early zionists lets you see this from both sides as the european jews argued amongst themselves. There were prominent thinkers/writers who argued for assimilation, letting jewish culture fall away to join other cultures when they lived in those places, using jewish-ness as an ethnic background and religion rather than a racial identity. Others argued that this was no different from being targetted by a successful genocide, because there would be no more distinct jewish 'people' (as in ethnicity/nation, not as in plural of person) and what would it mean to be of 'God's chosen people' if there was no people.

  • I want one. I just can't justify the expense while my old phone still works.

  • Dang, even Pedro looks goofy with just a moustache.
