  • The bot creators were probably just testing the waters to make sure it works. I've been a victim of vote-manipulation bots; they downvote attacked me. So glad to see people are trying to get a handle on this.

    So if I stole someone's username, then maybe people should be careful of what they say about users, since ya never know who the user is. So was the DJM dude fake too? Did he get banned for being DJM or for being me? But if I'm, as you say, not the real Universal Monk, then what does that mean for Lemmy?

  • Nah, even if the mod was wrong about why they banned DJM, Lemmy is a better place because of it.

    But they banned him because they thought he was me. Not for what he said. That's not a good thing.
