I don’t think they should reinvent the wheel this time around. I’d say, upgrade the tech, upgrade the ergonomics and make a dock that actually improves the graphics when connected to a tv.

I agree and I think they fumbled the naming convention as far back as GameCube. Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 were all known as a ‘Nintendo’ by the masses.
