Of course, which is the risk for at least Sotomayor this term. If Trump gets 3 more nominations, it could be possible that he’d be able to have 6 justices with an average age in their 50s, with plenty of time to continue the chaos.
Yeah, out of everything, his Supreme Court nominations are the longest lasting. They will outlive him and be a lasting influence for most of our lives. Every unconstitutional thing Republicans want to do will be handed to them by the SC. So long for checks and balances.
2020-2024 had no Supreme Court Justices to appoint.
Biden got one, Ketanji Brown Jackson, in 2022. And had Trump been president during this time, Thomas and Alito would have probably retired after Dobbs.
Awesome

Trump had two weeks to pre-pardon them in 2021 and didn’t. 71 million people just voted for Trump this time around. If 0.01% of them are crazy rioters, that’s 7100 people at his disposable. He doesn’t need an additional few hundred who already went to jail and had their life turned upside down, and may not still be loyal.
Pardon all the losers who voted for him and committed crimes
I bet he won’t pardon the Jan 6. rioters since that doesn’t do anything for him. He already won with them in jail and without their votes, there’s nothing more he needs from them.
Thank you!
Anyone have a non-paywalled link?

Surely the party of states rights will not allow the federal government to take away the rights voted by people in the state \s
2016 maybe? since Trump didn’t assume office until Jan 20th, 2017.
This has the added benefit of stripping Meghan Markle of her citizenship as well.
I really have no opinion of Meghan Markle but thought this was funny. It’s insane that it’d be easier to ratify an amendment from 1810 which would impact a good handful of people to target Alito, than implement robust Supreme Court ethics reforms.
Too lazy to research it, but curious if North Dakota sees more people vote because there is no requirement to register, or if they are suppressing votes from people who don’t have a government ID?
What a weird commercial. I’ve got so much stuff going on in my life, but my priority should be maintaining the virtual life of my Animal Crossing character?
Is this testing process normal or only specific to Indiana? Are the “test” ballots that are used added to the overall count and then subtracted after the fact, is that why he said he “fucked up count”? Or was the intention to steal the ballot to cast during election day?
6 senators and 121 representatives (all Republican) objected to certifying Arizona’s results in the hours after the insurrection at the capitol on Jan 6th. He also has 6 justices on the Supreme Court who have already ruled that he’s above the law. Unfortunately he doesn’t need to be in power if he’s being propped up by those who do.
Exactly, billionaires don’t usually get income the way most people normally do, or are only paid $1/year and instead are given stock. They can then use that as collateral to take out loans, effectively getting millions of dollars in salary without paying income taxes. And then when they die, the principal on their stock resets so their heirs can sell the stock and the gains be next to nothing, meaning they won’t pay taxes on all the gains.
Yet another way the education system has failed that Trump voter: In print, it’s libel.
is he paid residuals for theater and streaming sales? 🤮 if so, this would be a great reason to pirate it.
