I am in another state, but I just registered on CVS's website. When you select Covid, they have two questions, 'Have you had a Covid shot in the last two months' and 'Do you have a condition that increases your risk for Covid'. They have a link with conditions CDC considers increased risk. There's a bunch of stuff, including mental health disorders and having a BMI above 25. You could also just click yes on that question, since I doubt that they check.
It was a very different organization then. They really radicalized in the 80s. They became less focused on gun safety and hunters/target shooters and more focused on tacticool loonies.
It was within the last day or two. Near Venezuela. They blew up a boat they claim was smuggling drugs. They didn't even attempt to board it, just shot a missile and killed seven people.
The loophole is for private sales. A person can sell their personal firearms to another person without going through a licensed dealer, which means no background check. A gun dealer at a gun show needs to do a background check, but if someone just wants to sell some of their guns at the show, they can just take the cash no questions asked. It applies to GunBroker too, which is like ebay for guns.
The 'abundance' thing sort of operates on the premise that more wealth will make us all wealthy. This is the wealthiest country on earth, but we are not the highest in standard of living. It is just a rehash of supply-side economics. Just get rid of zoning laws and the wealthy will shower us with houses.
They have moved on to Network Cities. They are working to make a city state somewhere near Singapore right now. It's called Network School, for tech optimists and digital nomads.
It'll be interesting because the FDA is considered to be very strict internationally, and when a drug is approved here it a lot easier to get it approved in other countries. That is going to change very soon.
We are only as low as we are in corruption rankings because we legalized it. PACs lobbying etc
