I remember it being probably the most difficult shooter I had ever played up until that point. The campaign was genuinely so hard. I (barely) managed to beat it and the boss fight at the end took me real life months.

Unless you do obviously dumb things, like not doing anything at all and letting the enemies hit you, you literally could not fail at baldurs gate on default difficulty. I actually find it way too easy to succeed and far too forgiving. You could genuinely go through the whole game with your “picked random everything” character. Youll get your ass kicked a few times, but youll never get stuck anywhere. The only part thats complex is the story IMO. There are dozens of alternative endings and secret story bits and hidden interactions between characters. Almost every quest, no matter how small, has multiple endings. You could probably sink 1000 hours into BG3 without going through most of the story content.

Im only slightly older than you and when I was in highschool virtually everyone had IG, Snapchat and Twitter. I dont talk to anyone in the highschool age bracket but I think they probably still use IG/Snap/Twitter (or X if you prefer).

This is a thing thats (slowly) becoming mainstream I think. Rainbow 6 siege has it (or it did when I last played at least) and Battlebit Remastered has it. In Battlebit you can actually lean left / right all the time, no matter if youre against a corner or not. You can even do it in open fields

This starts to devolve as an idea kinda fast because someone out there has a phobia for every single thing. I do agree though on spiders specifically. I do not have arachnophobia but its so common and giant spiders are kinda overplayed in fantasy anyways, that I dont think theyd be missed.

Depending on your state they can also purge the voter rolls and just unregister whomever they want at their whim. Ive had family members and friends get purged and, somehow, the notice that they were purged just magically never showed up in the mail, so they would go to vote and be sent away at the polls. As a result I have to manually recheck my registration before every single election. Each state is totally and completely different in this regard, you cant take any assumption from your home state and extrapolate it to others.

Without any major spoilers how would you say it compares to pikmin 1/2? Pikmin 3 was okay but imo 2 was the best, and 1 suffers a lot from poor quality of life. Ive played every game so far around release and Im tempted to get 4 on my next paycheck. Is it more like the caves and exploration of 2 or the slightly more linear gameplay of 3?

Being able to ban people across instances would defeat the entire point of the fediverse. The best solution would either be to just defederate from instances that spawn lots of bots, or to contact those instances and work on the issue with them. There isn’t really any other better way that I can think of

There are multiple victory conditions in civ like science, culture, war, and so on. But only one player can win still, no matter what condition they use, which is the main point OP was trying to make

In my experience most restaurants dont even have HR lmao. My mileage obviously varies but I have worked a few food industry jobs, and exactly 0 had any HR person other than the managers and assistant managers themselves

This update is mostly about making it easier for modding iirc, so while it will break your mods you hopefully wont really have to worry about it again after this update, and modders should have an easier time making cooler stuff now going forward

I dont mean to be rude but I think its something mostly between your social sphere. I played pik1/pik2/pik3 all on release, imo pikmin 2 was by far the best out of the three and pikmin 3 was the worst. The dungeons in 2 were imo a great idea but I do agree that they were poorly executed in almost every instance. Especially towards the end of the game they became a slog. I think the newer approach to dungeons should hopefully remedy this issue but we will certainly see

I played a bit of pf1e, Im currently in some pf2e campaigns that have been going on a few years now, and I never played GURPS but I did read some GURPS reviews and GURPS material. I mostly am wondering because I know a local Mr. Moneybags in my town who happens to have gotten rich entirely off of his landscaping business which he started around 25-30 years ago, but even for him it took an exceptionally long time to actually build up that wealth. Can I ask, how often do you consume and what vape do you use? I consume mostly for recreation (I have a medical reason but Ill just honestly admit the recreational factor is bigger for me because my health issue isnt that serious) and Im a daily smoker at this point. Sometimes I worry about the toll its taking on my physical health and I know vaping is supposed to be less taxing. My wife also uses daily and she actually has medicinal reasons/has a medcard. Ive looked into handheld vapes and tried a few, but Im a bong guy and nothing as of yet has compared to the feeling of hitting a clean, fresh bong. All you really get if you look for advice online are a bunch of ads and adbait articles about vape # 2973 being the best for you

I do agree with your general point but there are some niche use cases, like how Paradox uses their forums for posting long-format updates and patch notes. That being said, the only use the paradox forums get at all is pretty much restricted to those long ass patch notes, and they could just as easily post them anywhere else
