Hehe, I used to do this back with my galaxy ace duos. It had some 4 barely usable roms and I used to flash them regularly. I lost atleast 2 devices due to bricking, good old days.

• KeePassDX - I’ve migrated all my passwords to KeePass and use tasker to automatically backup to google drive. I have a nextcloud automatic backup configured too. I used to have Aegis but KeePassDX can take care of that too
• Kiss Launcher - My first install!
• Poweramp for audio, I still prefer local audio than streaming. I use Youtube Music or Spotify to discover new ones.

It was easier to make working apps but it might be more difficult to properly follow good coding practices if you don’t have prior experience. That’s just my experience.
