  • I more meant that it's very nature is that it is a system where wealth both exists and is accumulated. If we didn't have money, we wouldn't have poverty.

  • I dare say, capitalism, by it's very definition, has CREATED all poverty.

  • I find a big impetus to mobile games (on phones) is the interface. Touch screens absolutely SUCK for most games. Holding a rectangle is uncomfortable.

Its interesting to me that playstation isn't new to the mobile market.

They've had the accessories for the psOne to add a battery and monitor, the psp, and the psvita. They are one of the companies I'd be interested in another mobile platform.

  • That's... Still terrible, you see that, right? Disabling a feature that I've paid for for any reason, at all, is unacceptable.

The parenting behavior of big tech companies is insulting.

  • Pretty soon it will be without a proper trial. Or in an army court where defendants don't have rights. It will be expedited. "Fair and speedy" will be within days or a week. No appeals will be allowed.

  • I'm so sick of them talking about doing stuff. Stop giving the opponents time to prepare, just fucking so the things we need to do to stop the fascists.

  • A leader has to inspire people to join and follow. Inspiration to have the courage to stand up and put your life at risk. So yes, inspire. It takes a lot to convince someone that the risk they are taking is worth it and that it has a good chance to pay off.

  • I've used it a handful of times. Out with friends at a bar who didn't live in this city, It's 1 or 2 am and their phone was about to die.

It's neat, but annoying. Neither of us could use our phones and if they picked it up to check anything my phone would turn power sharing off and I'd have to turn it back on again. That happened like half a dozen times, and made using it such a pain in the ass.

  • The resistance could use leaders with experience and the know how to organize, supply, and inspire. Not everyone can be a leader.

  • They control the purse. No visits, no funds.

They need to put pay stoppages on everything. No vendors, no contractors, no salaries. Operate within the legislative model or don't operate at.

  • Instead of regulating tech, they are going the fuck over everyone route.

  • The Trump administration's proposed agreement, which was obtained by CNN, would install a resolution monitor to oversee the school and a senior administrator who would ensure UCLA is complying with anti-discrimination laws.

This is so embarrassing. Installing snitches and rats.

  • Is seriously love to see states building and using their State Guard in direct opposition to the bullshit ICE is doing.

  • It's been a long term build. With unraid it's been pretty easy to slowly add disks one disk at a time.

I'm moving everything towards 22tb disks right now. It's still got a handful of 4 and 5tb disks in it. I've ended up with a pile of smaller disks that I've pulled and just.. sit around.

I also picked up a Synology recently that houses 12x 12tb disks that goes into that total count. I've got another couple Synologys just laying around unused.

  • It's almost like the base document can be loaded without annotations and never change. Then have the annotations load separately on top of the base page preventing even this odd "could be a tech issue" problem.

Don't accept their blaming tech for it. There is no reason that those annotations should even have been updated at this particular point anyway.

  • I used to really like esxi, but broadcom screwed us on that.

Hyper-v sucks to run and manage. It's also pretty bloated.

Proxmox is pretty awesome if you want full VMs. I'm gonna move everything I have onto it eventually.

For ease of use, if you have Synology that can run containers, it's okay.

I also like and tend to use unraid at my house, but that's more because of my insane storage requirements and how I upgrade with dissimilar disks fairly frequently. (I'm just shy of 500tb and my server holds 38 disks.)

  • Same. We'll see if they read my essay of a message.

  • I really like the soundtrack to Suikoden. Maybe it's nostalgia, but it's one of the better ones for me.

And lunar silver star story is pretty good too.
