There’s no copyright involved in taking a picture of someone, or having a picture of someone… Your tourist pictures are fine. If you publicize then or try selling them, that might be an issue, but making it inconvenient for people to make money off of non-permission photos isn’t really concerning to most people.

He must have learned long ago that he’ll never be able to compete in brains, but money, threats and bravado will get someone like him a lot farther than he’d get otherwise. In the meantime, he may have accidentally convinced himself that his level of knowledge actually is big and beautiful and anyone who claims to know more is just bullshitting like he is.

There’s obviously been a drop in his coherence, but it’s not like he was smart and now he’s dumb… He’s always babbled bullshit at a 5th grade level at best, he’s just had enough money and undeserved confidence behind him that he could mostly muddle through an interview just sounding smarmy and punchable… Now he’s also dealing with dementia to the point where he literally can’t remember what he started bullshitting about.

Do you have any hints at what would make you consider him not stupid, historically? Being confident and narcissistic, and even talented at bullshit doesn’t make you smart. And recognizing weaknesses in the system isn’t really smart, even if it is perceptive, when those weaknesses are really just strong arm tactics that happen to be available to him through brazenness, inheritance, litigation, cruelty and others recognizing him as a convenient money laundering option.

That’s not a good parallel, it’s the politically ‘motivated’ part he’s referring to. If someone is being prosecuted because they’re running for office, and you have a legitimate argument that if they had chosen not to run for office the charges would have been dropped, it’s legitimate to say it’s politically motivated.

On the other hand, if your crime was literally campaign finance crimes and voter manipulation, there’s a reasonable argument that ‘politically motivated’ isn’t necessarily a bad thing here. If you did a political crime, and seem likely to continue to be politically motivated to commit more crimes, it kind of makes sense that prosecuting you with a tiny bit of political intent isn’t totally unreasonable.

Harris at least fits the first two qualifications, which is what Trump’s campaign has been about for 3 years…‘Biden Bad’… Unfortunately for his campaign, he’s not the only one running who isn’t Biden and he’s doing a shit job of convincing people otherwise since he has spent practically 0 time signing any blame to someone as inconsequential as a Vice President at any point in any of those the years.

And why would he… doesn’t make sense to dillute the blame when he knows there was no way Biden would ever willingly give up the chance to keep the power of the presidency in favor of anyone else… He certainly couldn’t imagine doing that himself.

I feel like it won’t be AI until we figure out how to point it back at itself, have it review its own answers and then be ‘happy’ when it’s answers are right. Not necessarily like if the user gives it a good score, but if it recognizes an answer it had given was actually used, or a prediction it makes if proved true (if I answer this way, the user is likely to ask this as its next question, etc) and it starts changing its behaviour, and asking itself questions to get better at that.

Even the worst off people on earth, on average, are better off now than they were 1000s or even 100s of years ago. There have always been poverty, starvation, wars, rich taking advantage of the poor, and fewer safeguards or oversight on top of that.
