Probably not overrated, you (maybe) just think so because you personally don't like the games. The amount of people excited for it and loving it justify the hype I think.
Maybe soo many people using their data at once? Seems crazy though, likely just people who are trying to load steam store, etc through their phone on data and it doesn't load, so they blame their data connection wrongly
I agree, but only up to a point. If you like to discover loads of music because you listen to tracks all day at work for example (which can make you get bored of tracks/albums quickly when you play them a hundred times in one day), its much harder to do so when you have to use a different service for recommendations & listening.
Not so much that I haven't done that myself, but it is more time consuming.
So tl;dr its the discovery part thats a pain, at least for me.

Wow thats a shock. I suppose the second best option would be any country outside of europe, even though the connection speed wouldn't be that fast, it would still be useable.
One of the points in the article described how being slower to hand write makes you think about what you write before doing so, which leaves you with more meaningful notes instead of a transcript.
I think it only works if the country you are in allows it to happen, as in they have an understanding with the UK (in this case) to follow through with legal stuff. If they were in russia (for example), the UK probably couldn't enforce anything.
Think it is down to the government of your country.
I hope this encourages more companies/sites to fight back against stupid laws. If most keep complying, it'll only get worse for them in the future when they make even worse laws.
Pull out all UK servers and ignore uk fines (assuming thats legal wherever u reside... idk how that works) or just pull out of uk.
I hope a country like switzerland or something lets companies host servers there for europe without enforcing dumb laws from uk/european union.
More parking would incentivise driving, which is the exact opposite of what NYC should do/continue to do.
Solar canopies are interesting, but I'd personally prefer walking near trees than under some metal roof or however it works. I'd imagine the conopies being less useful in a place like nyc tho.
Trees are beautiful and life sustaining (air for us, but also food for bugs n stuff or birds idk). They can make us feel better.. because nature. I think they help with air pollution too, better air is always better.
Email magic links are cool (personally hate when a website only allows this login because I don't have my email available on every device, but that is unrelated sorta).
I probably wouldn't go with a relatively new project that isn't guaranteed to stick around long-term (big hassle to swap provider).
authelia and authentik both have a lot of eyes looking over the code so I'd also feel more confident going with them, even if I can't get passwordless email login (don't think they support it but not certain).
Unfortunately no software exists that is fully perfect in this regard (any program could have multiple bugs just waiting to be found), but jellyfin being open source puts it in a better situation for finding vulnerabilities sooner.
It is beautiful. I haven't even thought of using a database server for personal projects in years. SQLite all the way. It's so simple and performant (for my use cases).
Seems that celeste has changed peoples lives for the better. Helped them to see through things that are a struggle and not give up.
People probably can be changed by any game since one can speak to different people.
Celeste follows a light story of not giving up, which is probably why is resonates with many.
