But for the topic at hand, it seems that it’s similar to how the movie industry operates. When hundreds of millions can be on the line, a sure bet is better than a risky bet.

Hot take: stop paying for Spotify and get YouTube Premium instead.

I get it but how else do you expect them to be able to host all these videos and make them globally available? For free? Ad free? Private donations? It’s an incredibly useful service that for some reason people can’t stand to pay for.

This is the right answer. If more people subscribed… Well, it wouldn’t have to be this way.

With the line of 7 or 8 people holding 3 items waiting behind them I thought it was a bit selfish not to use one of the four open staffed lanes.

Yesterday this mf brought a whole shopping cart full of groceries to the self-checkout. Three of the checkouts were down so there were only 3 open. Not the spiciest, but like, damn.
