Main Fediverse accounts:
Avatar is a bunny with floppy rabbit ears, and spare rabbit ears. It is holding a floppy disk featuring Lemmings, and there is a screen of ZX Spectrum Lemmings in the background.

Oh, thank you very much! Will send you a DM.
I’d just like to take the blame for two separate Imaginary posts here in a row. I posted not realising this would be posted a matter of hours later!
Probably a better word! I’m not sure where I was going with that.
I do, but I’m on a waitlist (and don’t want to selfhost) so I’ve not been able to try it out yet (I don’t make calls through WhatsApp, so I see the lack of support as a benefit).
On Connect, the latter works but the former doesn’t. Weirdly if I click on my own username posted upthread, it can’t find me.
Kbin does odd things with links and communities, so I think part of the problem is it has mangled or added some unexpected links when you’ve written the post. However, some of your links in the original post work for me on Lemmy (!freegames@feddit.uk is fine), so you might want to compare them.
I’m not sure why Lemmy uses an exclamation mark for communities when everywhere else uses an @. It would be a lot easier if it used @ then it’s universal for Kbin, Mastodon, Lemmy.
The new communities group suggests to use the format I’ve used in my previous posts (basically /c/community@instance) - this won’t work on Kbin because it uses /m/. It’s better to use @ there as you said.
No problem, have added all the ones I know about.
OK, so will probably miss loads, but try these for starters. Where I’ve found multiple for the same platform the more active ones are nearer the top.
!amiga@kbin.social (Kbin)
!commodore64@kbin.social (Kbin)
!zxspectrum@kbin.social (Kbin)
!atari@lemmy.sdf.org (Atari 8-bits, can’t find one for the ST)
As for platforms, there are a load of retro ones which can be added, not sure if you want to include those?
There’s this bug I have encountered and proven: https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/issues/875 Basically other instances posting to a magazine, those posts don’t get pushed out to anybody else until interacted with (not 100% sure if it happens with comments, but you can experiment with this comment if you like)
There’s a separate issue with kbin.social and error messages on submit, which stops those posts from federating AIUI.
Firelord is an old one but gorgeous. Chicory is pretty, in a colouring book sort of way. Child of Light and Forgotton Anne have fairly similar aesthetics but are both lovely.
Incidentally my comment probably won’t be visible from instances other than mine and kbin.social until somebody interacts with it (I’m not sure if this reply itself is sufficient, usually it needs somebody on kbin.social to interact to make it visible elsewhere)
Are they not appearing on other instances? In which case it may be this bug: https://codeberg.org/Kbin/kbin-core/issues/875
If they aren’t appearing for users on your instance that’s probably a different problem entirely.
Also if you’re posting from kbin.social and the magazine is hosted there, that isn’t the same issue either (it’s only if somebody from a different instance posts to a magazine where that bug occurs)
Activating the Super Sheep in Worms DC. It was always “argh, I can’t control this, kaboom I’ve blown up one of my own worms”, but it was fun to try!
I am here for this!
Shame I don’t have a photo of the Guru at Northampton bus station - they used to run their displays from an Amiga.
Fittrackee is working towards it. https://github.com/SamR1/FitTrackee/issues/16
That is running the official API - it just hasn’t been approved/merged yet, so other instances don’t have it.
Yes. On the plus side, the website works well on mobile.
