May I ask: did you write the config on your own and did you create the neccessary icons? Or is there a sample config somewhere, with some icons as well (jellyfin, youtube etc would be nice).

Whoopdidu. What are we playing?
Three of my friends are using Apple devices, but I still accept them. Everyone has it’s quirk.
Someone has a different opinion than you. Quick, insult them!
Valid question, fuck those downvoters.
Using Kagi is not a bad decision. After reading a lot of positive things about it and beeing quite hyped, I was so ungently reminded, that every good thing comes with its own baggage of bad.
I thought I share it, so that everyone can make their own decision.
I also tried Metager, a german meta search engine. Sad to report: not usable for me, although I like their club (suma-ev) and donated some money towards them.
For now it’s DDG I guess. :-(
If your goal is to get away from this AI shit show, Kagi might not be the answer, according to their own blog.
I will search for a very interesting article you should read, before deciding to give kagi any money.
Edit: found it
Thanks, it looks like a good Meta-Searchengine.
Lemmy made me try Kagi.com, a not open source search engine. I wish there was a better and more open way to search the web.
Piwigo loocks great. How does it compare to Immich?
Good to know, I’ll give it a try sometime, thanks.
I tried what you are describing: Using a Pi4 and loading lineageOS (KonstaKANG) on it. Before that I tried libreELEC with Kodi or something like that… Internet via WLAN. Both setups suck. Everything is slow, input with my cableless keyboard/touchpad is laggy and I am not using the TV because of it… Watching jellyfin on my smartphone is more convenient.
But I am new to all this stuff, so maybe I missed some ways to optimize this setup. Next time I will just take a long HDMI cable and connect the TV with my main PC.
That sounds like a great idea.
At the moment I am using Openmediavault as a VM within proxmox - I pass my HDDs through to this VM. Openmediavault let’s me do all the stuff I want to: Share folders via SSH, NFS and raid-management.
Do you know if I can do the same with proxmox directly? Do you maybe have a link where this way is described in detail?
Yes, ukraine should lose some more soldiers to take a cut out of russia, to really show them. /s
Damn, this position at the sideline, rooting for our team, surley is comfortable.
Can’t confirm, for me the contact, calendar and notes sync is running so smooth and maintenance-free, it feels close to magic.
I am impressed, creating btrfs sub-volumes in a debian installation with muscle memory would look like magic to me (as a linux-beginner).
The partitioning and filesystem stuff feels very unsorted and confusing for me.
But if all the standard settings are ok for you and you only have to hit enter, I guess the installer is ok.
Ah, that’s actually good news. I was hoping something was wrong and not a choice, cause it doesn’t look that great.
It’s 0.0.61, the newest one from F-Droid.
That’s the neat part - you don’t! Fuck Adobe.
You are right, I had a look at the documentation, made myself some icons and modified the standard config in /usr/share/flex-launcher a bit. Thanks!
Could you copy and paste the menu-entry you start jellyfin with here?
