  • To Gnosticism, God from the Old Testament, also known as the Demiurge, is an asshole who incorrectly thinks that he really is God. The Demiurge also happens to agree with a lot of MAGA policies (people who don't believe in the Demiurge are inherently evil, and eye for an eye). The Demiurge has low tolerance for anything that looks like treason, so it makes sense that he would kick Adam and Eve out for defying him.
