well, if nobody in your circle and it is mandatory for your job. you have to suck it up to use this app.
uyouplus and sideloadly/trollstore is great combo
tested with proprietary with 525,535,440. it’s awful. But, my other working laptop ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 (Intel) with Kubuntu 22.04 with Iris gpu is perfect without issues.
moving cursors and scrolling
My hardware is 2 years old (ryzen 5900HX and RTX 3070). I use manjaro/Ubuntu LTS and Non-LTS/PopOS/LinuxMint/Zorin/LMDE/Nobara and endeavour OS and it’s freezing quite often and I have to go back to Windows atm. I think Nvidia is main culprit here. If I move to Full AMD or the current nvidia hardware is getting older (more than 5 years old). I might try Linux again
if you have modern hardware and newest nvidia GPU, just stay away from Linux. Windows is still best atm. But, if your newest hardware is ageing, then Linux is the best for that.
Tearmoon Empire is underrated
Freetube is good. But, Plasmatube is broken (cannot load videos).
wakuwaku
if you want older titles than those lists and it is currently running as a sequel on this season. Shield hero and Goblin Slayer is quite good. But, the story of those titles are quite mature though
Frieren is ok, I like it. I think Shield Hero and Goblin Slayer have mixed review because the content/story is much more mature than Frieren.
Goblin Slayer and Rising Shield should on the list. those two are very good
I heard newer model have new fan type as well
the old app that still retains its old feature from Reddit that have been reborn and it is first Lemmy client that support widget. wow!!
of course, it is the best Lemmy client on Android atm and this is the first Lemmy client with widget support. wow!!
no PWA support
Noted for that, as a workaround, I saw the earliest check in interval is 30 minutes. is it possible to make it shorter? i.e: 5-15 minutes
I remembered Boost for Reddit have push notification by connect it with Reddit app and the notification is quite fast and comparable with original Reddit app. Is it possible for Boost for Lemmy have real time notification like that similar to old one?
thanks, looking forward to the next update. if this happened. Boost will be the first Android client that support widget and push notification.
Standardnotes and Notesnook also good as well and they provide web app
