It's the Nazi shit. Not the product itself. Just like Canada's grassroots boycott of american goods. It's the implied invasion 51st state talk, not the tariffs.
How fucking pretentious. Adults playacting. Reminds me of Nero during the fall of Rome. In capitalism nothing counts unless it sells and people with too much money buy all sorts of weird shit, so this may produce another "revenue stream".
Everyone with a conscience still wants to see people go to jail over the Epstein files. Will Trump eventually blow up the Hoover dam (blaming it on others, of course) in order to say "Hey everybody! Look over there!!!".
Trump is the furthest thing from "benevolent". I do agree that a benevolent dictator would set us on the right path again. Until then it's money, power, and hate that seem to be the driving force in the world, both today and in the past. The showiest thing that american power does is to change hats from time to time when an election is held.
"Scream at him Mr. Trump. It's working! There are only 9 out of 10 people still asking about the Epstein files. Last week it was 10 out of 10. The tide is changing, sir! I honestly think you'll get away with all of the heinous shit that you do and did!" (One of Trumps handlers, probably).
Damn! I thought the OP ignited a flame and you'd join the fray. I'm the same as you I guess, being flippant to the folk who are concerned but helpless. Let's all wait!
I agree that guilt by association may cause problems for the victim but the most reasonable way to proceed is to gather facts and evidence and make decisions based upon that information. I believe that this process is the most effective, even if there is absolute proof that the victim is innocent (assume there was a live stream of the incident for all to see and everyone who saw it was shown that the victim was innocent). We should still jump the hoops and fill out the forms.
David Lynch's "On the Air".
