The homeowner likely gets off scott free but in Canada we still have to go through the legal motions. The cop on the scene does not have the right to let the homeowner off, the courts do.
What do they mean "on a week to week basis"? We've been shown, based on their television adverts in the last decade, that the little yellow price ball does that all the time. Were those commercials fake news?! /s
I read the post and it was not unhelpful. My concern is that we are starting to use the magic 8-ball too much. Pretty soon we won't be able to distinguish good information from bad, regardless of the source.
This reminds me of the old pre-internet joke about a little girl with a lemonade stand. The sign reads..."Cup of Lemonade $1,000.00". A passerby says to the little girl..."You won't sell much lemonade at that price" and the little girl says..."That's all right, I only need to sell one!".
This is sad that america is being shown how little voting matters when district manipulation occurs. If both dems and repubs do it equally then it might be a wash but it sure exposes a shaky, questionable system.
Some cops are idiots, most aren't. About the same everywhere I guess.
