Monster Hunter Rise, although it’s not exactly open world
When I was a kid, one of my friends would refuse to go into caves in Skyrim cause they didn’t like being underground. I remember thinking “damn, you’ve locked yourself out of like 90% of the game but whatever floats your boat”
I had a similar experience with Hollow Knight. Mind you, the entire map is underground, but there are certain very deep parts that are incredibly claustrophobic and I avoided them as much as I could.
90% of gamers stop investing in a company right before the devs make an adequate game
I’m glad the helldivers are eating good, but warframe players are having three course meals every couple months
That’s just as gross as I was imagining 😬
Now I want to get MacOS on one just to make gamers twitch
What I do is pick the thing I really want to try out, then just make guesses for a trial run. If I think I’ll run out of ammo I’ll equip that, for example. Then during the run, take notes of what’s not going to work, like if bugs are surviving but one damage upgrade can kill them, or the reload is taking too long, etc.
TL,DR: just pick something that looks cool and fix it over time.
Hey now, not every AAA game is shitty. The Monster Hunter games have been gorgeous and I’m excited for their next game
What’s your favorite game?
I hate investor leeches as much as the next person but saying “I want Ubisoft to focus on long-term strategy to provide exceptional experience to the gamers, rather than try to release multiple mediocre games every year” is not that crazy of an input
that’s their next project after Hollow Knight: Silksong
Remembered realms, eh? I’m not sure if I’ve heard of em.
Remember: management takes away any grenades you haven’t used by the time you come back up. Might as well toss them all somewhere so they don’t think that you don’t need them.
Play Warframe lol. Almost no vaulted content after ten years, and new quests coming out every couple months. 50 gigs.
oh I never hear people talk about docking their steam deck! Thats very enticing.
Part of the value of the Switch is being able to put it in the dock and connect to TV. It’s a lot harder to co-op when you only have the little screen.
I really like the running gag that if Turnip Boy reads something about taxes, he’ll tear the paper in half without a thought
I didn’t know that, actually, that’s cool
