  • that's not really normal behavior, have a vet check that the cat is healthy. might have some pain, teeth are a common issue.

  • linux phones please hurry!

  • you tried one distro and it's not working out, just go and try another one. i had to try a few before i found that mint works the best for me. it has some very minor flaws but it's been smoother than wintoes

  • or how about another plan that costs a little more and it has a little less ads? then increase the ads and price!

  • I've been itching to install ultramarine but earlier I've had bad times with fedora on my hw. also because i host jellyfin at my home network, i kinda need x11 because i have a little program that keeps my system awake when network traffic crosses a certain threshold, using xdotool. and no, that's not the cause for the wakelock issue. i know ydotool but no time to get into it in the near future

  • it hasn't happened on other distros but i have other bigger issues on them so i never could test for a longer period. took me a year to find what caused it and it hasn't happened since i switched from mullvad. fun bonus: ovpn destroyed my nvidia drivers on mint...

  • recently switched from mullvad to ivpn, and the servers are noticeably slower. with mullvad all the servers I used achieved my connections max speed 500 mb/s but on ivpn they usually do 50 - 300, and sometimes i need to switch server because they go down (i use european servers). only reason i switched was because mullvad causes a wakelock on mint cinnamon and it drives me nuts.

  • i would've been fine with 8.1, you could tweak out all the annoying stuff and then it just looked like 7 but worked better, no resource manager crashes or whatever it (explorer.exe) was called. and it didn't fight me like 10 did

  • or run one by yourself?

  • don't give your cats any caffeine, it's poisonous to them. just in case someone here didn't know. many cat owners don't know.

  • i never get those working either. i use virtualbox w10, unpack there, and then move the folder back to linux

  • no

  • definitely will set that up once i build or buy a server pc. I've been postponing that for a year or so because school and new job have been pretty demanding mentally

  • as soon as a download finishes, upload drops to 0 and it never sends a single byte even if i keep it seeding for a week. thought that was a port forwarding issue..

  • 0 because no port forwarding

  • the last few times step 4 ended badly, all of the debloat tools i found did a bit too much

  • on mint cinnamon, mullvad app prevents auto-suspending and screen timeout, idk if it does that on other distros. spent a full year troubleshooting and lost most of my hair and will to live. accidentally found the solution after switching to ivpn because it became impossible to watch youtube with mullvad

  • you can disable this useless processing from steam download settings. solved all of my issues launching games.

  • got my mom and sister to switch our group chat to element, but after a month they decided it sucks and now they love whatsapp more than ever...
