Are you checking for hot, 6 hours and 12 hours? I think it defaults to active which does make it seem, ironically, less active.
I make art that’s totally mine because I did it through AI. https://imgur.com/a/Rhgi0OC

Thanks for letting me know that Qwant is Bing. It’s hard as a typical person to find any info on search engines, so I appreciate the heads up.
I think it depends on what you disagree with. If one is promoting going after our neighbors, hunting them down and killing them? Yeah, defederate. If another is Meta trying to take over the federation. Yeah, I vote defederate. If one thinks Hawaiian pizza is a travesty and the other doesn’t, hold your horses.
I’ve been noticing that they’ve been getting worse and worse myself. I was recommenced Mojeek and Qwant, but I haven’t made the switch yet. I always forget to use them instead.
Working there? Sometimes there’s no choice. Buying anything there? Definitely a choice.
Ahhh, I always forget about TikTok. I’ll go check. Thanks.
Anyone know where I could watch it? NBC ain’t giving it up.
Ty, I really like SJW, they’re pretty great here.
These are seasoned ex-redditors here, do you think trying to antagonize them is going to work? Move along.
They haven’t gone that far yet, but they’re on their way. I didn’t think they were like that in the beginning either, but they certainly were advertising themselves to be the best place to go in the beginning for some unknown reason. They now try and take over every community and/or shut down smaller ones. An admin was curating things, which isn’t a great sign. Granted, it was just an admin, but I’m not welcome there anymore. They act like reddit, so I think of them like reddit. That’s just my take, you’re totally welcome to disagree, and you obviously do. I didn’t see the value in spreading out in the fediverse, now I do.
Lemmy World is doing a pretty good job of that themselves. I don’t hate them, but I don’t understand why.
I love that bot because I can disagree with their assessment easily in a comment to it. The NYT is medium to low and they list it as high, not sure how that came up with high for them.
From my look at media publications:
🔺💲 New York Times
◾ Owned by The New York Times Company
Since September 25, 1997, the company has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol NYT. From April 27, 1967, until January 13, 1969, the company’s Class A common stock traded over the counter. From January 14, 1969, until September 24, 1997, the shares were traded on the American Stock Exchange. There are 2 categories of stock, Class A (publicly traded) and Class B (held privately—largely (over 90% through The 1997 Trust) by the descendants of Adolph Ochs, who purchased The New York Times newspaper in 1896.
◾ CEO and publisher is A.G. Slzberger
Arthur Gregg “Dash” Sulzberger (born August 5, 1980) is an American journalist serving as the chairman of The New York Times Company and publisher of its flagship newspaper, The New York Times.
Sulzberger is a fourth-generation descendant of Adolph Ochs, who bought the New York Times in 1896. The Times has been managed and published by Adolph Ochs’s family since that date.
Sulzberger attended Ethical Culture Fieldston School and Brown University, graduating in 2003 with a major in political science. At Brown, Sulzberger worked briefly for The Brown Daily Herald as a contributing writer.
◾ Board of directors
As of February 2024:
This is their official page for the board of directors: https://www.nytco.com/board-of-directors/
Holy shit, they also cancelled it. Lmao
On Wednesday, some of the people who posted about the gift card said that when they went to redeem the offer, they got an error message saying the voucher had been canceled. When TechCrunch checked the voucher, the Uber Eats page provided an error message that said the gift card “has been canceled by the issuing party and is no longer valid.”
That’s incredibly interesting, rules makes for wild and creative solutions.
Edit: Unless it’s an HOA, lol. They fine you for being creative.
Wow, they chose the more expensive and more gentle way to do it? I wonder if there was a design committee that made them or it was just a love of architecture.
So you spent 10 years on a personal song about your family dying around you, it’s very personal, heartfelt and could be extremely successful because it’s said in a way that people won’t at first understand. You play it for your friends and they absolutely love it and encourage you to put it out. You don’t want to because it hurts too much. So you think everyone else has the "right"s to that song because it’s hoarding if you don’t release it? Come on, you don’t own my thoughts and creations, it’s selfish, greedy and a little narcissistic.
All the examples you have brought forward apply to private individuals. This is about cooperations and companies. Those very different legal entities.
That is not what some people here are saying, they want everything put out for copyright to be public domain. What’s hilarious is, that’s exactly what the AI hoovers want, they want everything anyone else makes. Especially the unique and creative artists. So these people in this thread want the same thing as these huge corporations everyone here hates.
Says someone that has never made anything. Do you think art, music, etc. comes magically out of nowhere? I don’t really care to fight about what the original intent of copyright is, artists and every person should own their own bodies, likeness, voices and creative outputs.
I’m guessing you do subscribed as well. I’ve also found it kind of nice to be able to leave and get on with my day. Reddit used to suck me in.
