Because here are many people who did a switch to linux. How did you handle using a cad software like solidworks or fusion360 after switching to linux?

The wierd part is, if i think about my star menu usage in win10, there hardly is one. The important programs are on the task bar. The Startmenu isn’t as much needed as used to be. Still sucks though.

Probably has something to do with the screen size. 30 fps on a small screen is way less exhausting on the eyes than sitting Infront of a 27" or bigger screen.

To which cars are you comparing the vw id3? In Germany, the cheapest settings will result in a price of 40.000€ which is expensive for my taste. But I don’t have a clue about the us ev market.

You could try bitwig, the daw is really good and has a native linux client for years.

When this screen recently came up, i had a mini stroke because it looked like it just updated itself… Iam really sold for linux mint, but my laptop is currently my desktop and i need functional Dockingstation use and an external gpu. Which doesn’t do well on Linux :(

Lol, that was the worst feature ever. If you forgot disabling it at install, it was nearly impossible to see it’s going to be a sms or signal message. (Especially for people who aren’t tech savvy)

I reinstalled win10 yesterday on a laptop that iam selling. The windows app store doesn’t work out of the box anymore. Just errorcodes. Its such a joke.

Ram usage as a talking point against ffx while using a chrome engine browser is more internet troll level i could handle after waking up.

Did you have issues with tb and an egpu? Beside some minor issues, my laptop with tb3 and an egpu works actually good.

I recently listened to a podcast about musk which was more on the anti side. The podcast had some parts about spacex and musks own work ethics, which told more of a story that he actually has some insights and knowledge and was a insane workoholic. Which shifted my perception of him. He isn’t dumb, he is a really good conman.
