  • what happened to small government not involving itself with states. i thought that was supposed to be a pillar of supposed “conservatives” that support this tragedy of a government

  • the digital coup has already occurred.

  • their podcast is freely available on spotify and such

  • that’s my theory. how can you be so grossly negligent to expose all your data with no ACLs. especially when collecting personal identification

  • the megastars aren’t the ones we care about making money, they’re fine. it’s the 99% of the rest of the artists that either get screwed by the labels or are independent and rely on fan support

  • you can probably use the tts tools from hume.ai

  • these laws are all about control and tracking what you do online. they make the internet MORE dangerous, because (as with everything the government restricts or bans) there will be a black market, which is always more dangerous and exposes people to more things than they were looking for in the first place. you think dark web providers are gonna make you upload your id to stay compliant? no, they’re gonna continue anonymously operating through TOR and serve up some very questionably sourced content to those teens that are searching “boobs” and can no longer access pornhub

  • …were they? i don’t think incinerating humans is great for air quality

  • it’s sad how many people will just blindly believe this shit, despite all these things being explicitly documented and dated. very telling of the intelligence of the population

  • it still blows my mind that the majority party being able to redraw district lines to stay in power is somehow legal.

  • Oh, the Ministry of Truth has published more goodthink for us citizens to accept.

  • let’s all just start calling these what they are: concentration camps.

  • israel is literally setting up aid as honeypots so they can target innocent people. how is this not a war crime. over and over and over again.

  • a grudge they took out on the people that helped them during their holocaust

  • despite the source though, google has been providing services for israel to enforce apartheid

  • without the technology involved though (from a Big Tech company), the reach of the propaganda would be much lower.

Why would propaganda to convince people that a genocide is acceptable be considered just politics? Shit like this falls into many buckets because it’s important to spread awareness across as many communities as possible. Who knows, if hundreds of millions more people knew what the nazis were doing in the 30s, maybe it would’ve been stopped earlier

  • Love this! The hourly wage for economic impact is def not correct though. Anyone that’s undocumented is likely being taken advantage of by their employers when they get paid under the table. I doubt many are making 17/hr

  • i don’t trust IceBlock. they don’t allow you to use the app at all without sharing your live location. it’s true iOS has better security and privacy, but whatever information any app collects from its users (like location data) will be sent to their own servers and cannot be confirmed by apple what they do with that data you willfully provided them
