  • I use it without issue and frankly couldn't live without the customisation of it now. The only problem I've had with the Steam Deck is the background recording no longer works (consistently) as far as I'm aware this is an issue with Steam/SteamOS and not because of Decky

  • If that is the case I could very well have misunderstood; my partner bought the 512GB and (as far as I know) didn't receive the special profile, keyboards or intro video. Maybe they simply haven't claimed them.

    edit: we just checked and they did NOT receive any bonus profile flair, keyboard layouts etc... My original comment seems to be correct.

  • If you're into cosmetics the only way (that I'm aware of) to get the fancy Steam profile stuff and special keyboards is to buy the 1TB version. If you're interested in customising your Deck with themes, intro videos and the like the 1TB version is the way forward as space gets eaten up quickly.

    It's worth buying a screen protector and a small, fine paintbrush to dust out the grooves and vents.

  • They certainly didn't conduct themselves in a polite or persuasive manner during their argument(s). As others have said in this thread: he has attacked everything but the topic and when they did they (purposefully) seemed very confused about the overall goal and desire of the campaign.

    Is this a case of being wrong about your initial conclusions and doubling down? Or is this a bad actor spreading purposeful misinformation? Going by the video alone it's hard to see an alternative.
