  • What's really cool is that in a lot of cases you can just load up the game on steam in linux and it just downloads and uses the same proton layers that the deck does. I run arch and in my testing so far it works, hampered by the fact that my test box is a very old a10 amd apu

  • The turds already inside the DNC forcefully eject anyone with a chance of being liberal. By the time I have a voice my choices are curated into irrelevancy.

  • There are no other options to choose from if we want aggressive responses that the bullies in charge will respect and respond to. Newstrom is it. Perfect being the enemy of good is the typical democrat excuse to sit on hands and do nothing.

Maybe the democratic party can realize what makes the people jump and put a better person in charge of that particular weapon, but that's not going to happen because the democratic party has no leader at all. I've worked in departments that didn't have a manager and there was a long gap before one was appointed, people tend to just continue doing what they were doing while they had a manager, and if anything changes it isn't their problem and eventually the entire process breaks down to a bunch of people drinking coffee and arguing about who should be doing what.

  • He won't, they don't have any dirt on him

  • That's cool, I am sure they would very happily kill you and be done with it, and over time that will grow to become the default option.

  • You've never actually been in a jail have you?

  • to be honest that's exactly why I'm on arch and not ubuntu or cntos. Ironically it was gpt that helped me get it set up and it would have had a lot more trouble without it, but now that the job is done I don't want it hanging around in the OS like 'hey buddy squeaking past ya gettn a beer'

  • I installed arch recently, and the steam client was pretty easy to install. What really shocked me is that all the stuff that works fine on my steam deck also works fine in arch, so that's nice

  • Hey, you know what? It worked. Kids stopped being shot. Isn't that the goal? Any means necessary? It was effective. Extremely small class sizes, distributed learning, it works and people don't die anymore.

Instead of making any positive changes the school system just said, 'glad that's over, get back to the old system immediately you little scamps!' Gotta save money after all!

There is a solution, y'all don't like it. Gun owners know there's another solution now, one that doesn't make them give up their investment to solve a problem they will never be involved in.

I will not be affected by whining about this problem when a proven alternative solution exists. Especially since the proven effective solution only burdens the actual people involved in the actual problem; all of us terrible parents and all of our horrible little children.

  • That's so pithy and reductive! And it suits your goals by only burdening gun owners and nobody else! And is false and wrong besides as whether you like it or not canada and europe have both firearms and better schools.

  • Not if they death you first!

  • You know what fully ended school shootings? The pandemic lockdown. We know what causes school shootings; schools are an underfunded nightmare pressure cooker half a step away from the prison system. We know how to fix it, change the system. Since we rushed back to the system that causes the shootings as quickly as we could, I guess you could absolutely say they died for nothing and will continue to die for nothing, probably until there are no more humans left to die for nothing.

  • and turn the harvest rate up, I MEAN WAY UP

  • I'm literally arguing a point that someone made, then the comment was deleted. I think you're projecting an inability to follow things onto me when really it's a struggle that you're coping with yourself.

Reflexively hating all landlords is a symptom of not understanding how things work and, probably more importantly, a burning desire not to understand a goddamn thing.

  • This is such a cool idea, however what if I had needs that weren't being met through charity?

  • If you can't get a loan to buy a house, what makes you think that will change if there are no rooms for rent?

For real though not understanding how loans work at all is on brand for you guys, If you want to go back to the days when everyone could own a house why don't you go attack the zoning laws that make houses so expensive and survivable, then we can go back to shanty towns that burn thousands and crawl with disease but hey everyone can own their own no loan hovel right?

  • What gives those people a right to a paycheck? Why aren't they just making things and selling them.

  • so if nobody will rent to you because renting is evil and you STILL can't get a loan, where do you live? I think you kind of glossed straight over the unable to get a loan part which is going to poke them either way. Free house doesn't exist.
