  • Istanbul was Constantinople now it’s Istanbul not Constantinople been a long time gone, Constantinople and a Turkish delight on a moonlit night. Every gal in Constantinople lives in Istanbul not Constantinople so if you have a date in Constantinople she’ll be waiting in Istanbul. Even old New York was once New Amsterdam, why they changed it i can’t say, people just liked it better that way… So take me back to Constantinople no you can’t go back to Constantinople cause it’s Istanbul not Constantinople been a long time gone, Constantinople why did Constantinople get the works? That’s nobody’s business but the Turks… Dodo do do do de do do do do aaaaaaa whaaaaa (I’m just going to stop here)

Ok it’s from memory don’t sue me if I fucked it up.

  • Not watching because spoilers. I’m definitely going to play it. I’m worried it is not going to meet expectations but I have heard from people who have early access and they say it’s fine. I didn’t want them to elaborate.

Keep in mind most game releases piss people off, especially in popular franchises. I mean, there are people who hated Skyrim and that’s unfathomable to me.

So I take these reviews with a huge grain of salt right now. Ask me again on Saturday how it’s going.

Gotta say I don’t like the art direction though. Blech. And I was a Solavellan so I’m already pissed off by what I gleaned from the preview trailer.

I’m trying to remain optimistic but I feel those who are undecided should wait for reviews after the full release.

Edit: it’s not going well. I’m hoping it gets better.

    • Creepy ambiance (maybe 2 vibes, one there’s eerie/builds tension and one that’s like gothic horror ambiance)
    • Swamp ambiance (similar to creepy but more of a nature swamp vibe)
    • Sea shanties/pirate ambiance
    • Traveling music (think bardcore road trip)
    • Fire and flames (like a forest fire maybe with music backing, works for Avernus, towns burning down, actual forest fire)
    • holy ambiance (sounds like I dunno…cleric-y? Like at a cleric’s holy site)
    • I don’t know what to title this but library/courthouse/university music ambiance. Like, something that would play in a big library, or when addressing the town council/magistrate/king, or when at a wizard university. Kind of serious and official sounding, does that make sense? -Bandit hideout music (also works for breaking into keeps, guard sheds or even like town guard breakrooms, really anywhere where the rough sorts hang out)
    • time limit/tense music for time dependent scenes (bomb going to explode, going to be discovered, outrunning a natural disaster, etc)
    • sneaking around music
    • Boss music different from regular battle music

That’s all I can think of right now but I may edit with more suggestions. Where do you get your open license music and stuff?

  • Ok how else would you word that I’m on the political “side” of the meme and still call it out for being kinda shitty by misrepresenting the ‘other side’ in a way that undermines the credibility of the message?

I did not expect this to blow up and made an offhand criticism that used a cliche literary device before heading out for the day. I apologize for getting tripped up when information is misleading or inaccurate, it’s a condition, and obviously I am long overdue at the gulag

Y’all take stuff way too seriously on the Internet.

  • Man I’m a progressive and even I can tell this is propaganda.

Also, missed a bunch of presidents? Bush 1 after Reagan. Lyndon B, Nixon, Ford and CARTER between Kennedy and Reagan.

I obviously agree with the overall message (that “both sides” is and always has been bullshit) but c’mon man.

Edit: like, you could put the actual campaign goals and summarized impacts and then it would be a real infographic. Like “passed tax cuts for top _% of income earning Americans” “repealed gun laws”. It’s still cherry picking and biased but that’s what moves something like this out of the realm of propaganda and into I dunno…something more like biased news? Bias isn’t inherently bad, obviously when you’re trying to have an argument you have a side and an agenda.
