It’s terrifying for a field I am going to be entering. I keep getting told the same thing from colleagues, professors, doctors I shadow. They all have the same resounding opinion that the Healthcare system is completely broken. Equally important, they all also say that private equity is a fundemantal cause of many of the failings.
I thought our healthcare system was plenty fucked before private equity came in to make it so much worse.
It’s crazy how much we pay for just OK service at its very best.
