When the Vice president leaves office, they usually get protection for 6 months unlike the president that gets protection for life.
Biden granted Harris extended protection for whatever reason.
Trump cancelled Biden's order... resulting in Harris going back to standard 6 months of protection.
Trump is still an asshat for this and he has a history of cancelling protection for those he holds a grudge against.

It's not unreasonable to think that he might have had her best interests at heart considering the extremely tense political climate following those events and how she was elevated to center stage when he dropped out the race.

I remember reading it was extended for an extra year, but dont entirely quote me on that.
I'm not sure what the time frame was.... But whatever it was, 6 months or a year or more, it was not normal practice. Trump just likes to say fuck this Biden policy wherever.

If you're seriously asking, here's a non-exhaustive list in no particular order. She:
As plenty of people (including yours truly) had warned, Harris running doomed America to another Trump term for the sake of her wealthy donors. I think I have every right to be pissed at her.
Fuck all the people who didn't vote because they thought Harris wasn't perfect.
Setting aside the validity of your point, "Harris wasn't perfect" is gaslighting and will never get anyone on your side. If you don't accept the reality that Harris was a terrible candidate and a step towards fascism rather than away from it, nobody who doesn't already agree with you will give you the time of day.
It'd be bad enough if this was just the Toddler-in-chief being petty, but it's a sure bet that it's not - that he's very pointedly and deliberately telling his violent racist supporters to kill her.
He's very pointedly telling the rest of the Democratic Party that he controls the police and the military.

As a Democrat, I hope this sends home the message that gun control isn’t your friend. Obviously nobody is pro gun-violence, but since neither party gives a fuck about mental health, that’s not going to change anyway.
If you’re a Democrat and you’re not armed, you’re part of the problem and have helped to enable Trump. Kamala herself knows this, she’s a former prosecutor and has talked about that in the past.
