  • Yep, my exposure was just gross grocery store or very bland things in salads or burgers. Flavorless and sometimes mealy. I never understood it. Thankfully I can even get great ones at stores now.

  • I don't like the guy either but are we actually believing the National Enquirer? I don't know why Yahoo is sourcing it but that's a grocery store tabloid. Been thinking I want to diagram out media outlets for folks cause I see a lot of tabloid stories get posted in various places. I never really gave much credence to Enquirer or Daily Mail/Fail type places.

  • Excuse me barfs a little

  • Ah I needed that. It tells you all you need to know that establishment DNC is so afraid of him. Turns out, you find out what's been grinding people's gears, you run on a platform of fixing those problems, people like that. Helps that he's way more new media savvy probably just as a consequence of being younger and a digital native. I'm not going to expect perfection from this guy. I'm sure rising stars will falter and make mistakes too just like anyone, let's be realistic. But I see this ad and it's like, yes! This guy doesn't make me feel like I'm taking crazy pills! I wish I could vote for him. You think he's going to be worse than the ex-gov who resigned in disgrace and the current mayor who made a deal with Trump to make his corruption charges go away? Dude's gonna try and make buses free, ooh how scary.

  • One time I looked up Steven Cheung to see what he looked like and oh man that is a face...not even a mother would love. I once heard Margaret Cho say that he's so ugly, old Asian people would say he is bad luck. That got me good.

  • I will say, finally I am seeing consistent headlines that include how whatever dumbassery he's doing is an effort to distract from Epstein. It's like most of media finally got the memo not to just repeat his lies as the headline. They're all tying it back to Epstein.

  • I think they're losing tons of money even on their $200/month plan. Last year they projected to lose like $5 billion. They just picked pricing arbitrarily I don't see how they will turn a profit anytime soon.

  • Sure, but I think it's about momentum and building blocks. Can't ask Joe Schmo to get to the guillotines right now...not even sure I personally agree with that anyway...but we as an American society have gotten very, very comfortable with a life full of conveniences. I think a lot of people are seeing things falling apart not sure what to do. Attending a peaceful protest is really energizing and hopeful for folks that are looking to take any sort of action. You see so many other people feeling the same way you do and it kind of snaps you out of something and you realize you care and your neighbors care. Yes fighting directly against an enemy is needed but a lot of revolution and resistance is also caring for your community and taking care of one another when systems fall. I think there's a quiet power in just showing up for one another. Why put out the doom message that step 1 is not enough, when it's going to require step 1, 2, 3...and so on.

  • Which one did you get? I'm curious about a warm water one. Although I feel like it takes my tap a while to get warm so would it even work? I guess a cold spray could really just wake me up in the mornings 😂

  • Which one did you get?

  • Yea, we have a decent amount of inventory for stores for now...but once that runs out and if this all keeps up it's gonna get dicey I'm guessing. I've stopped a lot of my discretionary spending, but I kind of want to get a bidet attachment for my toilet ha. Never got one during the Covid go round but I vaguely recall that we (U.S.) import a lot of Canadian lumber for tp production.

  • Man I'm worried about measles in the next year. All the health departments being gutted, I don't think we're going to have a good tracking system to know how far and wide it's going to spread. Big outbreak in Mexico that traces from the Texas outbreak. I am thankful that my immediate area is 95% vaccinated for MMR which should be good for herd immunity but there are a looooot of places these days that are below that. Kids don't deserve this and they will be the ones to suffer.

  • Hey thanks, I appreciate your post :)

  • Good glad to see some tangible numbers. I was a weekly Target shopper but haven't been since the economic blackout day. They were actually doing some cool things after 2020, selling a lot of products from Black-owned businesses. To see them do a 180 is a stark reminder.that they're just a business and $$$ is the name of the game. Gotta hit em all in the pocketbook, it's the only thing they listen to.
