  • I'm curious about the reliability of this port on a sweaty wrist exposed to dust and general labor environments. My phones, even back to the proprietary plug days, have had the charge port covered and my wrist watch would get wrecked.

  • Does the PD standard not regulate? I've used a PD power cord from a laptop to charge a mobile phone, but that isn't exactly a small device. And maybe I shouldn't have done that...

  • If you want to share, where in the Carolinas? I lived in NW North Carolina for 10 years but only ever saw pimiento grilled cheese. No okra, either. Too short of a growing season, so it just didn't exist in restaurants. There was livermush.

There were places that I think could have served this, and I would have tried it! Looks good for something to share. I don't think I have had pimiento cheese since.

If they had come up with something original like that, it would have been better. But creating constructive neologisms takes work, I guess.

  • I had not heard of this either, but what is it about Ice Cube? I haven't seen him in a movie in a long time, Friday era, I don't remember him being bad in that (or earlier films), no good now?

  • Looks tasty! This inspires me to try this as a beans and brassica dish since I have she different options in stock right now. Thanks for sharing!

Not sure if signing up is good. Pat Buchanan? Alexander The Great? And of course arresting Democrats.

  • Thanks! Currently I am using Mint, and it looks like secure boot is disabled.

    Thanks for your replies ❤️

  • Maybe, but what about units supplied by a Linux builder? My last computer was a windows machine I installed Linux on, but that was before this I think. It shipped with windows 7.

  • I definitely have UEFI, not sure about secure boot.

  • Not sure, I have a computer from a Linux builder but it still has UEFI. I am trying to figure out where I stand on this.

  • How would we know if this will affect us? I have been running Linux distros for 20 years and didn't know Microsoft was involved at any level in firmware.

  • I don't think the DeLorean reference is apt. That company was headed by a man who saw himself as a visionary, liked to highlight his middle initial "Z," and had a drug addiction. No connection whatsoever.

  • Interesting. I clicked on a link here a couple weeks ago and was presented with this and wasn't really sure what it was. Thanks for sharing this! It seems like a good alternative.

  • Generally our organs don't rupture without some other function. In your example, we probably don't have good studies to reflect how long humans can hold urine in until "something" happens. We do have good studies on trauma patients, and I think that would be where the rupturing would be.

  • That is nuts. I've always liked hardwired better but hard to do that with a mobile phone.

  • I don't really understand how this works, so struggle to see any benefits (only drawbacks😐). It does make me thankful my provider is a small local company. Not the fastest, but probably no spying.

  • I used Asunder a lot when I was converting to digital and it handled tagging pretty well except for CDs I made from things like Napster files. It doesn't look like it is updated very frequently now, tho.
