I wouldn’t really consider it to be in developement hell. Sure it takes it time, but there are not management problems. Just a very small teams that does what it can. The first game was develope by 3 persons, maybe the second as well (don’t know)
Mine has to be Demonik It looked pretty cool and I remember watching the movie to “promote” it, Grandma’s Boy.
Grandma’s boy was so good. I never knew that the game in the movie was intended to actually be released!

They haven’t announced remasters of 2 & 3, but since 1 was shadow dropped, I am hopeful rest will be too.
There was this supposed leak that the whole prime collection is already remastered for switch, they just wait to drop it.
But with the massiv delay of prime 4, I would also drop them one at a time until 4 is ready.
Yeah, I have heard of that too, but if it’s ready and they are just dropping them one at a time, why not add some fanfare to it, instead of shadow dropping it like that? Could be just a marketing tactic…

It certainly sold more than expected, judging from the physical copies and it was nice to see a game being announced and immediately available.
My guess is minimum one year between each remastered…
But that would mean at least 3 years for Prime 4! Well, I guess all we can do is wait and see.
Remember when the BOTW was right around the corner and that blew up, but we got tears of the kingdoms - so the wait was worth it!

Prince of Persia remake. Was my favorite game growing up. Who knows if it’s even being worked on anymore and I have no faith in Ubisoft in any regard at this point.
To my understanding they trashed it and gave the project to a new development team so I wouldn’t get my hopes up. Really sucks since it’s a fantastic game and would do wonders if it got the RE4/Demon Souls/Dead Space treatment.
Yeah the initial reveal was so badly received that they gave it to another team and seemingly were supposed to start over. But it’s been long enough since then to at least hear something about it. Oh well…

After 13 years and 500 million Dollars there’s still no release in sight.
I spent $40 11 years ago. I haven’t jumped in to check out the latest build in like 2 years. I’ll only install it again once they figure out all their technical issues and start adding proper content. And release SQ42 lmao

Blackroom. John Romero and Adrian Carmack’s fps that went up for a Kickstarter and was abruptly pulled. I know daikatana was pretty bad, but the 1.3 patch actually makes it playable and enjoyable, also sigil is great. I know Romero can still make a great game, and blackroom seemed like it would be a really cool game.

Duuude, don’t say things like that. It’s my favouritest game. Bethesda games usually don’t suffer from development hell, they just suffer from tons of bugs on release, completely different thing.

Anyone remember this game? It was advertised as Dark Souls meets Diablo 2. It was announced 9 years ago and they went radio silent around 2015-2016. The game got unlisted on Steam because the devs claim it’s not ready for advertising. Allegedly they’re still working on it but nobody knows what’s up.
Man, I’d totally forgotten about The Last Night. That was such a cool teaser. I just checked out the developer’s Twitter and there really hasn’t been any activity since 2021.
