Fortunately this is one series that is actually finished. Books are better covering timelines before this dynasty and the ones after.
Was amazing how anticlimactic and forgettable the show made Blood and Cheese which had been hyped up to be the equivalent of the Red Wedding.

I got so frustrated with the first season particular last few episodes that I haven't even tried the second one yet. It's like they lost their mines and decided no one could be a bad guy toward the end.

Well, I think I can say for the show that it is, you know, it starts off with a bang. The first two eps were essentially supposed to be our finale last year.
Excellent to hear. Season two lacked a final act, glad to see they're not going to stretch it out and just dive right in. Hopefully they've planned and been giving the resources to correctly finish this season.
