What if the files were released today, would any representative or senator really see any consequences? Would any of them sit before a judge? Well what you're deciding to believe about that is just wrong. Members of the Biden administration did assist (D) senator Wyden's investigation into wire transfers of billions of dollars to Epstein, which is still ongoing and he has published a list of dozens of names that he found records of financial involvement with Epstein. That investigation which Biden staff cooperated with is being blocked by Trump's staff currently.
Releasing the list is damage control.
The Epstein list is really just a focusing lens of much greater rage at billionaires and the elites that cover for them. They either throw some meat to satiate the wolves at their door or the wolves will want to come for them all. Americans are too American to admit their rage is all really about wealth inequality.

Technically there are still anonymous victims in the documents, but yes. You can usually tell from context that the only redacted names are victims if this is done right.
It wouldn't surprise me if this is at least partially true, but James O'Keefe has exactly zero credibility. He has made it his life's work to produce poorly-made works of fiction, and he has the audacity to call it investigative reporting.
